Prior to joining MSI-US, Marissa worked for the American Red Cross’ International Services Department, where she served in several positions, both operational and programmatic. Most recently, she was the Program Officer for the Southern Africa Region, responsible for project management, donor stewardship and proposal development across 11 countries. Previously, she served as a Sr. Associate, Contracts and Agreements where she drafted, administered and tracked a diverse portfolio of grant and project agreements with internal partners, US foundations and the US government.
Marissa has a BA in international affairs with a minor in political science and a concentration in African studies from Kalamazoo College.
