2023 Impact:

  • 2,599,000 people using an MSI-provided method of contraception
  • 436,000 unsafe abortions averted

Since 1988, MSI Bangladesh has provided high-quality, affordable sexual and reproductive healthcare across the country.

Our wide network of centers reaches the country’s densely populated cities. Women in remote, hard-to-reach communities can count on our outreach teams to bring short-term, long-term, and permanent contraceptive methods to them. We also provide pregnancy and post-natal care at maternity centers.

Women and girls in Bangladesh are particularly impacted by climate change. In this low-lying country, cyclones and monsoons cause frequent, devastating flooding. In such uncertain conditions, being able to decide if and when to have a child is essential, and MSI works to provide choice in areas impacted by natural disasters.
