Since 1992, MSI Madagascar has provided contraception, care after unsafe abortion, and other life-saving services to women across 22 regions in the country.
Women in Madagascar face many challenges, including high rates of child marriage and pregnancy-related death. As one of Madagascar’s leading providers of sexual and reproductive healthcare, MSI is working to tackle these serious challenges by bringing high-quality services to the hardest-to-reach clients. We go where others don’t through outreach teams and a wide-ranging network of MSI Ladies, mobile midwives who serve women in their homes.
Our maternity centers also provide maternal and child health services in towns across the country. In a country where less than half of births take place in a healthcare facility, access to high-quality maternity centers can save women’s lives.
