MSI United States welcomes Amanda Seller as President
MSI is delighted to announce that Amanda Seller has been appointed as President, MSI United States and Vice President, Global Partnerships and Philanthropy.
Amanda joins at an exciting time for MSI: We are coming out of a 2-year pandemic that should have been devastating to our services, but instead motivated supporters and teams to push even harder to reach more women. The past two years have made it clear that MSI is ready and able to accelerate our efforts in service of our bold goals: To eliminate unsafe abortion and ensure that every woman who wants it can access contraception by 2030.

“Amanda will lead a newly formed Department that draws together the work of MSI US and our global Government, Multilateral, Private and Philanthropic Teams. She will be responsible for expanding and diversifying our fundraising efforts and donor sources globally: both working to meet our immediate funding needs at this critical time for MSI, as well as ensuring we deliver our ambitious MSI 2030 income goals.”
Amanda has worked in the social impact and humanitarian aid sectors for over 25 years, joining us from Friends of UNFPA, where she served as interim CEO. She has served a wide range of causes including homelessness, addiction, domestic violence, refugees and displacement, and reproductive health, and has been a leader within UN and INGO organizations.
Over the past 12 years, the focus of her work has been resource mobilization and communications for the humanitarian sector, working at international NGOs and UN agencies such as UNHCR and at the International Rescue Committee, where she delivered sector leading growth.
